Handball-EM live
Who will broadcast Germany against Portugal?
Germany is in the main round of the European Handball Championships and tough duels await. All DHB games can be followed live and free of charge – on these channels.
The main round opponents of the DHB team at the European Handball Championship in Northern Europe are tough: Portugal, Norway, Denmark and France. In particular, the duels against defending champion France and Olympic champion and world champion Denmark are likely to demand everything from the German handball players.
But Portugal also recently drew attention with a sensational victory (31:29) against the handball superiority from Denmark. The DHB selection also has a score to settle with its next opponent: a year ago, national coach Alfred Gislason’s team lost to the Portuguese in extra time in the World Cup quarter-finals with 30:31.

These are the TV experts
The ARD is relying on the expertise of two handball world champions from 2007: Dominik Klein and Johannes Bitter are in action for the first. ZDF is once again using ex-national player Sven-Sören Christophersen as an expert.
Well-known handball players also rate the performances of the DHB team and the events surrounding the tournament at Dyn: icon Stefan Kretzschmar, the former national players Pascal Hens, Michael Kraus (both also world champions from 2007), Tobias Reichmann and Silvio Heinevetter as well as France’s world and European champion Kentin Mahé.
New to the team of experts are the still active Bundesliga professionals Fabian Wiede, Timo Kastening and Leif Tissier, the newly crowned vice world champion Antje Döll and Florian Kehrmann, coach of the Bundesliga third-place team TBV Lemgo.
