German Mixed Final: Estonian International 2026

At the YONEX Estonian International 2026 there will be an all-German final in the mixed competition. Simon Krax and Amelie Lehmann as well as Jonathan Dresp and Selin Hübsch prevailed in their respective semi-finals and will face each other in Tallinn on Sunday.

Simon Krax and Amelie Lehmann, seeded number one, had to fight in the first round. They prevailed against the Malaysian pairing of Loo Bing Kun and Noraqilah Maisarah in the deciding set with 21:19. As a result, the duo presented themselves extremely stable and played their way into the final without losing any further sets.

Jonathan Dresp and Selin Hübsch showed great nerves throughout the tournament. They needed three sets in both the first round and the quarterfinals. The semi-final against the French Natan Begga and Elsa Jacob also developed into a real crime thriller: After losing the first set (16:21), Dresp/Hübsch turned the game around and won the following two rounds by the narrowest of margins with 23:21 and 21:19. In the final there will now be an internal duel with their respective doubles partners Krax and Lehmann.

It is the second direct meeting on the international stage for both German mixed pairs. At the Slovenia Open last year, Simon Krax and Amelie Lehmann were just ahead.

The Estonian International final will take place on Sunday at 10 a.m. local time (9 a.m. German time) and will be broadcast live on badmintoneurope.tv.
