The Arizona Cardinals fired head coach Jonathan Gannon on Monday.
This news comes the day after the Cards’ 14th loss this season. Arizona finished the schedule with a 3-14 record.
Hired by the Cardinals before the 2023 season, Gannon will never have had a winning season at the helm of the team.
With Gannon as head coach, the Cards have gone 4-13, 8-9 and 3-14 over the last three campaigns.
Before joining the Cardinals, the 42-year-old served as defensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles for two seasons.
Gannon becomes the third coach to lose his job during the famous “Black Monday” in the NFL after Kevin Stefanski with the Cleveland Browns and Pete Carroll with the Las Vegas Raiders.
