GAK Transfer: Record Fee Paid | News & Analysis

The GAK is preparing for the departure of Sadik Fofana.

As the “Kleine Zeitung” and the “Krone” unanimously report, the people from Graz were able to agree on a transfer fee with US Lecce. Fofana is expected for a medical check-up on Monday.

According to the “Krone”, Fofana is likely to be the most expensive departure since GAK was founded. The Italian first division team is expected to transfer a sum in the mid to high six-figure range to Graz.

The 22-year-old midfielder only moved to GAK from Bayer Leverkusen on a free transfer in January 2025. Since then, the Togo international has played 30 competitive games for the “Red Jackets”.
