Franz & Moritz: A Captivating Story

rbb|24: Working on the book that you published around a year and a half ago should help you process all of these stimuli and successes. In this work you traced your sons’ path to the NBA. How did this idea come about?

Wagner: In fact, I had the idea many years before that. As a journalist – I don’t have to tell you this – you’re always on the go collecting stories. And at some point all the stories that were lying on the street started piling up, so I decided to write it all down. That was still during Moritz’s college days. The concrete idea for the book quickly emerged when it became clear that Franz would also be going to the NBA and that they would both play on a team together. I really wanted to capture this uniqueness.
