The French team will set up its base camp in Boston for the 2026 World Cup, the French Football Federation (FFF) announced on Friday. The name of the hotel was not specified, but the Blues staff were looking, according to a federal source, for an establishment not too large to be able to privatize it, but large enough to accommodate a delegation of around sixty people and install specific rooms for treatment, the gymnasium and video sessions. The large city of Massachusetts is approximately 300 km from New York/New Jersey where the Blues face Senegal on June 16, and 500 km from Philadelphia where they will face an intercontinental barrage (Iraq, Bolivia or Suriname) on June 22. Kylian Mbappé’s teammates will play their third group match against Erling Haaland’s Norway on June 26 in Boston.
