Fotbal.cz: No Reinforcements – Crisis at the Club

The very first match of the spring part of the Chance League will be really challenging for Dukla. According to coach Holoubek, the team fighting to remain among the Czech elite will have to cope without five strikers against Sparta. Some are troubled by health problems, others are waiting for visas in Africa. “That’s just bullshit,” the Dukla coach let himself be heard in an interview for iSport.cz.

David Holoubek will not be able to bet on the returnee Kevin-Prince Milla (22), who cannot play against the Leten team due to the loan agreement.

Namory Cissé (23) is dealing with long-term problems, even experienced winter reinforcement Tomáš Pekhart (36) is not 100% healthy.

“He has problems with his knee. It’s more sensitive and the weather doesn’t add to it… everything is going against us. We’ll wait until the last moment to see how it develops,” Holoubek said.

The situation is only worsened by the situation of the two African forwards Boubou Diallo (22) and Chinonsa Emeka (24). They are still waiting for visas and cannot join the team. “They are both in Africa, training with local clubs and waiting. It’s completely incomprehensible to me.”

Dukla was as active as during the summer transfer window and brought in several reinforcements. It is said that the Prague team will not take another one to the spring part, rather the opposite. According to Holoubek, the staff is oversized and departures are being dealt with.

However, one name is suggested. Samuel Isife (21) may say goodbye to Slavia for the spring part of the season and could temporarily return to Dukla.

“We talked about it and we’re in communication with him and we’ll see how it turns out. Dukla would make sense for him because he knows the environment and he wouldn’t have to acclimatize, so for the few months it would make sense for everyone. But we’re not dealing with it in any way at the moment and we’re letting it run its course,” commented Dukla’s coach on the current situation.
