Flick on Dro to Barça Rumors: 100% Commitment Needed

As revealed Friday evening on our site, PSG could steal one of Barça’s new nuggets in the person of Dro Fernandez, 18 years old. After PSG’s victory against Lille (3-0), Luis Enrique was asked about a potential arrival of the young offensive player but he preferred to kick in: “I don’t know, I’m not answering”.

This Saturday, his Catalan counterpart, Hansi Flick, did not escape questions about his young player either. If he did not confirm or deny his departure – to PSG or elsewhere – the German firmly sent a message to the young people of La Masia, the Barcelona training center.

“I don’t want the others”

“If you want to play for Barça, you have to give 100% and put all your heart into it. And that’s what I want to say to everyone, to those who are with us now and to those who will join us. They have to live 100% for these colors. That’s what I want to see, and the others, I don’t want,” said the Blaugrana coach at a press conference before Barça’s trip to Real Sociedad on Sunday evening.

“I’ll talk about Dro when it’s official.” Now, no. I don’t want to answer because as a coach, we give our energy and our confidence to the players so that they progress. But there are people around them… I prefer to wait until it’s over. If he leaves, we will talk about it again, but not now,” added Hansi Flick.

“The idea is that they all stay here. That’s what I say for Dro. If it’s not done, I’m not going to talk about it. It’s football. They are eighteen years old, they are old enough to make decisions. When I see… No, I don’t want to talk about that anymore. That’s all,” he continued, visibly annoyed.
