The Minas Gerais club, however, plays hard and has already rejected two red-and-black proposals: the first for 30 million euros (R$ 191 million) and the second for 24 million euros (R$ 153 million) plus striker Everton Cebolinha, valued by the locals at 8 million euros (R$ 51.4 million).
Cruzeiro puts its foot down and says it will only negotiate Kaio Jorge for 50 million euros. Flamengo, in turn, is considering stretching the rope to 27 million euros (R$ 172 million) plus Cebolinha, however, they know that a positive outcome is very difficult.
With the impasse, Rubro-Negro is already mapping other attackers on the market who have this characteristic. Argentine Taty Castellanos was one of the targets, but he transferred to West Ham, in England.
A reinforcement and some exits
So far, Flamengo has already agreed to sign defender Vitão, a former International, who signed a contract until 2029. In addition to a center forward, the club is looking for at least a goalkeeper and a midfielder. In goal, plan A is Gabriel Brazão, from Santos. Another one on the list is Pedro Morisco, from Coritiba.
