At 1.89m tall, goalkeeper Andrew, who was with Gil Vicente, in Portugal, is Flamengo’s new reinforcement for this season. The archer joins Vitão on the list of Rubro-Negro contractors.
Before agreeing with Urubu, the goalkeeper even negotiated with Botafogo. Andrew’s arrival at the club will serve to replace the departure of Matheus Cunha, a reserve goalkeeper who went to Cruzeiro.
He joins Agustín Rossi, Dyogo Alves and Léo Nannetti on Flamengo’s list of goalkeepers.

Andrew was revealed by Botafogo, but did not play for the main team, limiting himself to being a backup to goalkeeper Jefferson at the time. He also played for Maranhão before arriving at Gil Vicente, where he made more than 120 appearances, being the second goalkeeper who played the most for the Portuguese club.
