Fenerbahçe vs Galatasaray: Super Cup Victory 2-0

Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe faced each other in the Super Cup final. Fenerbahçe won the match played at Atatürk Olympic Stadium 2-0 and took the Super Cup to its museum.

The yellow-dark blue team started the match effectively and took the lead with the goal scored by new transfer Mattéo Guendouzi in the 28th minute. Levent Mercan assisted Guendouzi’s goal. There were no more goals in the first half and Fenerbahçe went to the locker room with a 1-0 advantage. Continuing its pressure at the beginning of the second half, Fenerbahçe doubled the difference with Jayden Oosterwolde’s goal in the 48th minute. The person who took the corner kick for this goal was Marco Asensio.

The score did not change in the remaining minutes of the match and Fenerbahçe defeated Galatasaray 2-0 and won the Super Cup. The yellow-red team will play their next match away against Fethiyespor in the Ziraat Turkish Cup. Fenerbahçe will face Beyoğlu Yeniçarşı.
