Unwanted images occurred at the National Arena during the halftime of the UEFA Europa League 8th week match between FCSB and Fenerbahçe. Tension arose between the representatives of the two teams who faced each other in the corridors.

In the footage recorded by Romanian press Digisport, it was seen that many players and officials, including FCSB Coach Elias Charalambous and Fenerbahçe goalkeeper Ederson, were involved in the discussion.

As the tension increased, security forces arrived at the scene and intervened to separate the parties. While intense efforts were made to prevent FCSB and Fenerbahçe fans from being involved in the brawl, the tension was reduced as security took control. The parties were then directed to the dressing rooms.

Before the second half, it was observed that the tension was completely over. While the teams were taking the field, FCSB Coach Elias Charalambous went to the Fenerbahçe front and shook hands, showing that the events were behind us.

“I AM IN THE LOCKING ROOM”

When asked about what happened at the press conference held after the match, Fenerbahçe coach Domenico Tedesco said the following:

“I didn’t see what happened, I was in the room at the time and was examining a few positions with the analysts. I heard voices and went there and brought my team in. There was no problem after that. I don’t know exactly what happened regarding the incident, nothing happened on the field.”
