Falun Sprint: Anger & Sundling Victorious

In the men’s final, Edvin Anger was the big favorite. Despite competing on borrowed skis, the Åsarna IK skater showed no hesitation. Anger was fastest in the final and took the victory after a race at a high pace.

– It was full speed in the final, it’s nice that it works even though I’ve just done a tour and I’m not in shape, Anger tells Expressen after the race.

Behind Anger, it was an even battle for the podium places. Johan Häggström, Piteå Elit SK, went in as second, closely followed by Jesper Persson, Åsarna IK, in third place. Emil Danielsson finished fourth, George Ersson fifth and Oskar Svensson sixth.
