FAC Star to Bundesliga: Transfer News & Analysis

Evan Eghosa Aisowieren is leaving the FAC and moving to SV Ried in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga. Both clubs officially announced this on Monday.

The 20-year-old offensive player signs a contract with the promoted team until the summer of 2028, with the option of an extension for another year.

At FAC, Aisowieren developed into an absolute top performer in LigaZwa in the first half of the season, scoring six goals and two assists in 14 games. Now comes the next step in the development of the ÖFB U21 national player.

Already had in December LAOLA1 reported on Rieder’s interest (all information >>>).

It’s straight into training camp

“Evan Eghosa Aisowieren has impressively demonstrated his qualities at FAC Vienna in the 2nd league. He has a high level of game intelligence and a very good feel for spaces in depth. This means we are even more variable on offense and bring another element into our game with Evan’s depth,” Wolfgang Fiala, sports director at Riedern, is quoted in the broadcast.

“We are also signing Austria’s next U21 team player, thereby underpinning our transfer strategy of recent years. I would like to thank those responsible at FAC for the constructive negotiations,” he added.

The new signing is also full of joy: “After the discussions with Wolfgang Fiala and Max Senft, it wasn’t difficult for me to decide on Ried. They completely convinced me with the project here in Ried. I’m really looking forward to being able to play in the Bundesliga now. I want to score as many goals as possible and help the team in the best possible way. I thank God for this great opportunity.”

This Monday, Fiala and new signing Aisowieren are traveling together to the team’s training camp in Turkey.
