Madrid, Jan 12 (EFE).- The Polish soccer player of FC Barcelona, Ewa Pajor, top scorer in the F League, has been chosen as the best player of the month of December in the competition, according to the ‘Player of the mont’ award given by EA Sports to the most outstanding players throughout the year, announced this Monday.
The Polish striker scored two goals in two league games, against Costa Adeje Tenerife and FC Badalona, and became the top scorer of the competition, with fifteen goals in thirteen games, in addition to three assists in 934 minutes, followed by her teammate on the Barça team Claudia Pina and Edna Imade (Real Sociedad), both with 11 goals.
Along with Pajor, the following were nominated for the voting that opened on December 24: Eva Navarro (Real Madrid), Rosa Márquez (Sevilla FC), Ainhoa Marín (Deportivo Abanca), Malou Marcetto (Madrid CFF), Carla Andrés (SD Eibar) and Daniela Agote (Athletic Club).
The attacker thus joins the list of the best players of previous months: Luany (Atlético de Madrid), Imade (Real Sociedad) and Pina (FC Barcelona).
Ewa Pajor will receive the award in the moments prior to the match between FC Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid, corresponding to the seventeenth day of the F League, which will be played on Wednesday, January 14 (7:00 p.m.) at the Johan Cruyff stadium, in Barcelona. EFE
