Event Guide: Dates, Locations & Details

Audi becomes – after Red Bull Racing, Racing Bulls and Haas F1 – the fourth team to present its livery for the 2026 Formula 1 season. This will happen during a launch event in Berlin.

The team – originating from Sauber – has already completed the shakedown of the car. The R26 saw action at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on January 9, but the final livery was not on display there. That will be different tonight. Considering the concept colors and team kits, which were previously released, we can expect a silver-black-red livery.

Looking ahead to 2026

The 2026 season marks the start of a new regulations era in Formula 1. The new rules include a 50/50 split between combustion engine and electric drive, smaller and lighter cars and the introduction of active aerodynamics. In addition, F1 welcomes Cadillac as the eleventh team on the grid.

Audi enters the season with the same drivers as Sauber in 2025: Nico Hülkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto, led by team boss Jonathan Wheatley. Sauber finished ninth in the Constructors’ Championship in 2025 with 70 points. In the drivers’ standings, Hülkenberg finished eleventh with 51 points, while Bortoleto finished his rookie year in 19th place with 19 points.
