Thanks to an excellent team and six players with at least 10 points, Monaco beat Partizan Belgrade 101-84 in the Euroleague, without trembling much.
Fourth victory in a row for Monaco in the Euroleague! After Bayern, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, the Roca Team took advantage of the reception of the red lantern, Partizan Belgrade, to sign a 13th victory in 20 Euroleague days. The vice-European champion was almost never behind in his room, and achieved a nice collective success. The Serbian club, where the player who wore the Monaco jersey at the start of the season, Nick Calathes (10pts in 15min), plays, was in front of the scoreboard for the very first minutes, until 9-10, but then no longer really existed. A 7-0 allowed Monaco to get back on track, then win the first quarter 28-21.

In the second, the Monegasques, largely dominant, increased the gap to +17, and finally returned to the locker room leading 54-39. In the third, the Roca Team further increased its lead, up to +21 (71-50) before experiencing a small gap by conceding an 8-0. With ten minutes remaining, the score was 74-63. The last quarter did not allow the Serbs to regain hope, far from it. Monaco continued to develop its game and Partizan never came back below fourteen points behind. It was ultimately a 17-point victory for Vassilis Spanoulis’ men.
Diallo top scorer
A collective victory, with six players on at least 10 points, and none standing out. Star Mike James was content with 11 points in 30 minutes. The best Monegasque scorer is Alpha Diallo, author of 14 points. Monaco players made 59% of their 2-point shots and 60% of their 3-point shotsand they largely dominated their opponent in rebounding (32-21) and assists (22-15). Thanks to this success, the Roca Team occupies fourth place in the ranking, one victory behind the two leaders Valencia and Hapoel Tel Aviv. Valencia where Monaco will go on Thursday. A hell of a test!
