Until the end of the season, Endrick will play under the colors of OL. Loaned by Real Madrid in order to have more playing time and regain confidence, the 19-year-old Brazilian striker is making an excellent debut under his new colors. Already the author of four goals in three matches, the star shines and showcases his talent in front of goal like his idol Cristiano Ronaldo. Asked by The Team, Endrick explained that his role model was the five-time Ballon d’Or winner and that he dreamed of facing him at the next World Cup:
«No, Cristiano Ronaldo is number 1. Maybe because I’ve never seen Emperor Romario play. What I admire most is that Cristiano remains, at 40, the one who works more than the others. He is close to retirement but is still able to play for many years. I hope so anyway. (…) I like this comparison with Cristiano, who also had a difficult childhood. He is an incomparable player, who has always worked very hard. I like this image of someone who works every day to be the best. Meeting Cristiano at the World Cup? Ah, Cristiano… that would be wonderful. I hope this match will take place and that we will win it (Smile).”
