Eintracht Frankfurt and TSG Hoffenheim have agreed on the transfer of Ayoube Amaimouni-Echghouyab. After a successful medical check, the offensive player will now wear the eagle on his chest. The 21-year-old has a contract until June 30, 2031.
Amaimouni-Echghouyab has made an impression for and with the Kraichgauer second team over the past year and a half. In 2024/25, TSG won the regional league championship and was promoted to the third division. At the winter break, the promoted team was in seventh place. Amaimouni-Echghouyab played a key role in the breakthrough with seven goals and nine assists. In the current season, the Spanish-born Moroccan has the fifth-most goal contributions in the entire league with nine goals and six assists; and at 21 years old, he is by far the youngest of these top five.
Breakthrough with 18 goals
The strong dribbling left-footer took his first footballing steps in the youth ranks of Rot-Weiss Essen and Arminia Bielefeld. He made his breakthrough in the adult sector in 2023/24 when he contributed 18 goals and six assists in 30 appearances for the upper division club SpVgg Erkenschwick.
