Meanwhile, management has willingly accepted Pandis’ decision, on the basis of upholding the values of fair play and complying with applicable regulations.

After Pandis’ decision, the club has also dismissed Dwi who was deemed guilty of violating the rules of the 2025 PSSI disciplinary code.

“Hopefully this incident will be a lesson for all players and parties involved in the Indonesian football scene, and will not happen again in the future,” he said.

Now, KAFI Jogja is focusing on facing the DIY Provincial League 4 final match against Mataram Utama FC at the Mandala Krida Stadium, Yogyakarta, next Sunday (18/1). It was claimed that the DwiOptito incident did not affect the club’s preparations for the final match.

“God willing, it won’t (affect), yesterday the situation was uncomfortable because of this incident. But now the management, coaching team and players are trying to return focus to the initial goal and look forward to achieving the best results in the final,” he concluded.

By Pandis Asprov PSSI DIY, DwiOptito was found guilty after lifting his leg too high and aiming at the face of UAD FC player, Amirul Muttaqin, in the DIY League 4 match at Sitimulyo Field, Tuesday (6/1).

Apart from being sentenced to a lifetime ban on activities in Indonesian football competitions, Pandis DIY also imposed a fine of IDR 1 million on Dwi.
