Draymond Green et Jordan Pooleit’s still not true love. Since the infamous punch of the first on the second and the departure of the latter via a trade to the Wizards, then to the Pelicans, there has been no tinkering on the agenda. Unsurprisingly, Draymond, although the older and at fault of the two, added a little fuel to the fire by criticizing the behavior of his ex-teammate in his podcast, the Draymond Show.
A few days ago, José Alvarado, Poole’s teammate in New Orleans, got into a quick fight with Mark Williams and received a two-match suspension. In this scene, the punches made as much of an impact as Poole’s surprise head a few meters away. Obviously, that didn’t amuse Draymond Green, who saw it as a lack of courage.

“If I find myself in a fight and my teammate is standing behind me making that face (he mimes Jordan Poole’s expression, Editor’s note), frankly, it’s not possible… David West always told us that when something happens on the field, you have to approach it immediately because you don’t know what could happen. I’m not saying that you have to go and fight, but at least stay standing nearby. Imagine that the other five guys decide to throw themselves on your teammate while you’re on the other end? Aren’t you going to help him?” Green explained.
Rarely do several months go by without Draymond Green mentioning Jordan Poole, the very man he asked to turn the page after his attack. The radio silence that Poole imposes on him seems to frustrate him to the highest degree.
