The Ministry of Sports fulfilled its promise with the recently completed senior basketball tournament with Franco-Macori reinforcements with the donation of one million pesos within the extensive program of executions that the official sports portfolio has been implementing.
The provincial sports director Juan Liberato highlighted the importance of the donation from the sports ministry on the instructions of the head Kelvin Cruz.
“With this delivery, the Ministry of Sports fulfills its promise to provide the top Franco-Macorisan tournament, considered one of the best in the area,” Liberato stated.
He said that for the second consecutive year since the arrival of Kelvin Cruz, the sports ministry unconditionally supports the TBS Francomacorisano.
It meant that both in 2024 and in the last tournament, Minister Kelvin Cruz guarantees the important contribution to local basketball.
For his part, Enrique Rosario, president of the organizing committee of the Franco-Macorisan TBS, thanked the sports ministry for the important contribution.
“He committed to Franco-Macorisan basketball and for the second year the minister keeps his promise, without a doubt Kelvin Cruz is a great ally of national basketball,” he added.
He valued the work that Kelvin Cruz does at the head of the sports ministry to which his helping hand is reaching the interior of the country and especially to the discipline of basketball.
