Deni Avdija celebrated his 25th birthday in the best possible way, giving himself a triple double against one of the big names in the Western Conference. The Portland Trail Blazers player finished the match against the San Antonio Spurs with 29 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists, achieving his fifth triple double of his career and third this season in which he is establishing himself as one of the candidates for the Most Improved Player award. His figures are in fact exceptional: 25.6 points with 7.2 rebounds and 7 assists on average with 47% from the field and 36% from three points, in addition to 80% free throws on almost 10 attempts per game — a considerable leap if we consider that last year he scored less than 17 points and distributed less than 4 assists per game
