Several Turkish media outlets and Sky Sport report that Yusuf Demir has been left out of the Galatasaray squad.
The club is said to have tried to terminate the contract early, but Demir demanded a high six-figure sum.
This approach apparently meets with little approval from those responsible and has consequences. The Austrian’s contract expires in the summer anyway.
Demir has only played 35 minutes so far this season.
