Trained at Olympique Lyonnais, the French player signed up for three and a half years with the “Lionesses” of London.
French international striker Delphine Cascarino has signed for three and a half years with London City, an English first division club owned by Michele Kang, also owner of the Lyon club.
The 28-year-old winger joined the American franchise San Diego Wave in 2024, after a triumphant decade at her training club, Olympique Lyonnais. The one who has 83 caps with the Bleues, and six Champions League titles with OL, finds her teammate in the French team, Grace Geyoro, who arrived last summer from Paris Saint-Germain at the London City “Lionesses”.

The team from the British capital was promoted at the end of last season to the Women’s Super League (WSL) under the leadership of French coach Jocelyn Prêcheur, dismissed from his position in December and replaced by Spaniard Eder Maestre.
Compete with the leaders of the Kingdom
This independent club, not attached to a male structure, aims to ultimately compete with the top names in the English Championship: Chelsea, Arsenal and the teams of Manchester, United and City. This horizon still appears distant since London City occupies seventh place (out of 12 teams) after 12 days, seven points from the podium.
“England, for both men and women, is the country of football. I always dreamed of playing in this championship”said Cascarino in a press release from his new club. “I want to play in the Champions League here at London City and win lots of trophies.”
