courthouse.

Singer and YouTuber A, who is accused of abusing his own daughter to death, did not reveal his position on the indictment during his first trial.

According to a media report, the 1st Criminal Division of the Jinju Branch of the Changwon District Court (Presiding Judge Kim Ki-dong) held the first trial on the 15th for Mr. A, in his 40s, who was indicted on charges of murdering his teenage daughter.

According to the prosecution’s indictment on this day, Mr. A is accused of assaulting Mr. B and leaving her in a vehicle, causing her death while working on rental broadcasting equipment with his daughter B, a college student who was on leave from school. It was found that Mr. A assaulted Mr. B by pouring hot water on him, causing injuries such as scalp lacerations and burns.

The court announced on this day that Mr. A plans to appoint both a public defender and a private defender to proceed with the trial. This is a measure taken as a result of the trial being postponed twice due to delays in the appointment of Mr. A’s private defense counsel, who was replaced several times.

At the trial on this day, when the court asked whether he would admit the indictment, Mr. A did not reveal his position, replying, “I was not properly aware of the details of the indictment.”

Mr. A’s next trial is scheduled to be held in the same court at 10:30 a.m. on the 5th of next month.
