Lištvána played twelve seasons in the first league. In addition to Chrudim, with whom he won titles in 2007, 2008 and 2010, he also played for Zruč nad Sázavou, Slavia Praha and Vysoké Mýto. In the highest domestic competition, he played a total of 247 matches and scored 90 goals.
The Football Association of the Czech Republic informed about the tragedy. “A smiling player with a big heart and a refined left-hander left Czech futsal forever. Honor to his memory and sincere condolences to the bereaved.”
The sudden death of the representative caused a shock in the futsal community. “On behalf of the entire club, we express our sincere condolences to the family and loved ones. You will forever remain in our hearts,” wrote Chrudim on social networks.
Other clubs that Lištván passed on joined. “One of the great personalities of Nejzbach has passed away. On behalf of the entire club, we express our sincere condolences to the family and loved ones. We will miss you, friend,” they remember in Vysoké Mýt.
“Rest in peace, Honzík. You will forever remain a legend in the history of our club. Your departure hurts immensely,” the fans condoled.
The cause of death has not been released. However, a disturbing message appeared on social media suggesting that the international was going through a tough time. “I know it’s late, but why didn’t you come and say: I have problems, help me. This was not the solution,” said a person from Lištván’s family, probably his father.
