The team from Minas Gerais continued better in the match and had opportunities to increase the score, especially at the end of the first half. São Paulo’s best chance came in the 46th minute. Igor Felisberto shot hard, Lamourier blocked it, and on the rebound Gustavo Santana finished in front of the goal, but the goalkeeper managed to save again

The equalizer came a minute later. Isac took advantage of the opportunity inside the area and scored into the net, sending the Tricolor fans into a frenzy at Pacaembu.

In the 28th minute of the final stage, Gustavinho, who had come off the bench, took a risk from outside the area. The ball hit the post, touched the goalkeeper’s back and went in, putting Cruzeiro back in front.

Three minutes later, Kaiquy Luiz fouled a São Paulo player. Initially, the referee signaled a penalty, but went back and awarded a foul outside the area.
