Thomas Coville and his crew, aboard the maxitrimaran Sodebo Ultim 3, crossed the finish line this Sunday morning at dawn – shortly after 7:45 a.m. – between Ouessant (Finistère) and Cape Lizard, in the United Kingdom. They completed their world tour in 40 days, 10 hours, 45 minutes and 50 seconds, beating Francis Joyon’s record in 2017 by more than twelve hours, despite Astrid’s depression which shook the crew in the final hours.
