Colorado & Buffalo Hockey: Wins & Streaks!

The New Year’s program of the overseas NHL consisted of a total of ten games. Colorado presented itself again with a dominant performance, which decided its victory over St. Louis. Buffalo tied the organization record for consecutive wins with its 10th straight win.

Colorado flew into the match with St. Louis by the head and built up a four-goal lead in less than five minutes. However, the Avalanche did not let up, they outplayed their opponent throughout the game and went on to win 6:1. Striker Valerij Ničuškin flashed a hat-trick.

Buffalo continues to ride the winning streak, claiming its 10th straight victory and tying the organization record. The Sabers didn’t get off to the best start on the Dallas ice, trailing by one goal after the first period. But in the rest of the duel, they prevailed four times and won 4:1, which sent them to the second wild card in the table.

Boston scored a surprise victory at the end of the night, winning 6-2 on the ice of Edmonton. David Pastrňák helped with two goals and one assist.
