The transfer market prior to the 2026 BetPlay-I League left bombastic movements that shook Colombian football. The arrival of internationally important figures such as Luis Fernando Muriel and Radamel Falcao García raised not only the expectations of the fans, but also the economic value of several FPC clubs. With the start of the championship, it is now possible to take stock of which are the most expensive teams in the country for the first half of 2026.
According to the ranking prepared by Transfermarkt, a renowned portal specialized in the market value of world football, Atlético Nacional is consolidated as the most valuable club in Colombia. The purslane team tops the list with a total valuation of 24.43 million euros, making a considerable difference compared to their pursuers, although without completely breaking away.
In second place appears Junior from Barranquilla, which reaches a value of 16.20 million euros, backed by a competitive payroll and hierarchy reinforcements. The podium is completed by América de Cali, whose squad is valued at 14.20 million euros, confirming its place among the great protagonists of Colombian football.
Very close to the ‘top 3’ are Deportes Tolima (13.15 million euros) and Independiente Medellín (12.60 million), teams that in recent years have been constant hosts of the tournament. Millonarios, despite its history and call, appears in sixth position with 12.45 million euros, leaving it outside the ‘top 5’ of the most expensive teams in the country.
Santa Fe, Atlético Bucaramanga and Deportivo Cali complete the group of teams with squads valued above 10 million euros, while Once Caldas and Internacional de Bogotá remain in the upper-middle range of the ranking.
At the bottom of the ladder are clubs with more modest projects, but that seek to compete through organization and sporting performance. Boyacá Chicó closes the list as the team with the lowest market value, with a valuation of 2.48 million euros.
