Michal Skoras has mixed memories of Club Brugge. He would have liked a little more frankness about his case.
In July 2023, Club Brugge still spent six million euros to recruit Michal Skoras. But the Polish winger had never managed to establish himself as a starter over time. Six months ago, the Blauw en Zwart sold it to La Gantoise for less than a third of the money invested.
With the Buffalos, Skoras showed that he had qualities to showcase. When talking about his time in Bruges with the Nieuwsblad, he believes that he does not harbor any feelings of revenge: “About the club and my former teammates, you will never hear me say the slightest negative word”.
Skoras would have liked more frankness in Bruges
He won a Belgian league title there and took part in 20 European Cup matches: “I cherish beautiful memories. But some people there weren’t honest with me.”
“I’m not mentioning any names. But I’m not talking about the players.” Nicky Hayen? “I had no problems with him.” However, he regrets sometimes too cautious communication on the part of his former coach: “Sometimes, I prefer to hear the truth which hurts.”
Michal Skoras, however, explains that he has moved on: “I remain myself, the guy who doesn’t get angry and makes jokes in the locker room, I generally have good relationships with others. I don’t want to spend all the time dwelling on what happened.”
