In support of youth sports in Bahrain, the Manama Club announced the selection of Bahrain Cheeks as the official sponsor of the youth and junior basketball teams. This partnership comes in line with the national “Generation Gold” initiative, which was launched with the support of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, which contributes to encouraging young talents in various sports.
By supporting Manama Club’s strategy, Cheeks seeks to invest in future generations by creating a new class of young talents. Hassan Newroz, Member of the Board of Directors and Head of the Media and Public Relations Department at the Manama Club, stressed the importance of this cooperation, saying: “This partnership embodies the extent of compatibility between the Generation of Gold initiative and the goals of the Manama Club. We believe that building the right infrastructure starts with investing in young talent. This support contributes to strengthening our efforts to prepare future players capable of representing the club and the Kingdom with pride.”
This initiative provides operational support to the club’s basketball programs at the youth and junior levels. It aims to develop training levels and readiness for competition, especially in the national championships held within the Generation of Gold initiative.
