Chelsea achieved a momentous away victory after winning a vibrant and dramatic match against Napoli in the UEFA Champions League. The match was full of emotions and goals, with an intense development from start to finish, leaving the “Blues” with three golden points in a historically complicated place like the Diego Armando Maradona stadium.
The scoring opened early in the match, when Enzo Fernández converted from the penalty spot in the 19th minute to put the English team ahead. However, the reaction of the Italian team was immediate and Antonio Vergara equalized the actions in the 33rd minute. Before the break, Napoli managed to turn the result around with Rasmus Højlund’s goal in the 43rd minute, sending the game into halftime with the local advantage.
In the second half, Chelsea showed character and hierarchy to reverse the result. Joao Pedro, one of the great jewels of the London club, was the star of the match by scoring a decisive double: the tie came in the 61st minute and the winning goal was scored in the 82nd, sealing a key victory in their European aspirations.
