LONDON – Arsenal players triumphed in the first match of the semi-final of the English League Cup against Chelsea FC 3:2.

In the London derby, Ben White sent the guests into the lead in the 7th minute with a header, and after the break, Viktor Gyökeres made it 2:0, taking advantage of a mistake by goalkeeper Roberto Sánchez. In the 57th minute, Garnacho was reduced, but a quarter of an hour later, Martin Zubimendi restored the “Gunners” two-goal lead. Garnacho had the final word, who in the 83rd minute corrected from the stoppage to the final 2:3. Rematch is scheduled for February 3.
