The duel was scheduled for 7 p.m., but due to the significant accumulation of water on the field and after some moments of uncertainty, it was decided to postpone the duel.
The heavy rain that affected a large part of the province led to the suspension of the match between Central Argentino and Vélez de San Ramóncorresponding to the Fifth Elimination Round. The match was to be played this Sunday from 7 p.m. at the stadium Osvaldo Juarezbut the state of the playing field prevented its normal development.

The large amount of water accumulated on the field made it impossible to guarantee the safety of the footballers, which is why the authorities made the decision not to start the match. Despite the work carried out, the floor did not respond and the persistent rain ended up tipping the balance towards suspension.
As previously reported, the duel will be rescheduled for tomorrow, Monday, January 19, initially at 10 p.m.
In this way, Central Argentino and Vélez will have to wait to see each other again at a key junction in the tournament, while the organization works to confirm the rescheduling of the suspended match.
