New accommodations for the American Football Club Groningen Giants and the Rescue Brigade. The CDA wants to investigate this, after a visit to various sports clubs in the municipality.

The Giants now share the canteen with the GRC Groningen football club at Corpus den Hoorn. However, according to the CDA, Giants needs its own meeting place where their material can be safely stored.

The CDA also wants to see whether accommodation is possible for the Rescue Brigade. This can possibly be shared with another association. The building is for storage, meetings and theory lessons

Other measures

The CDA also wants action for other sports clubs. For example, there must be accessible storage space for wheelchair hockey at the Hockey Club Groningen.

The Judo Academy must disappear from Tavertijnstraat. The CDA wants their new hall to have a permanent judo mat, just like now.

The HSV floorball players indicated that they want to organize multi-day tournaments. The CDA therefore asks the municipal council whether clubs can spend the night in the Scharlakenhof sports hall in Haren.

Badminton Club GO! the CDA once again pointed out the shortage of indoor sports areas. The badminton club therefore has a waiting list.
