Achraf Hakimi, Yassine Bounou and Walid Regragui have been watching over the Casablanca district of El Hank for almost three years. A few weeks after establishing themselves as the faces of the Atlas Lions’ unprecedented journey to the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup, they saw theirs take shape in the form of stamps on three 18 m high walls thanks to street artist Mohammed Touirs.
For this 31-year-old football enthusiast, known for his creations under the name “Ed Oner”, the idea emerged during the unexpected qualification of the Moroccans for the round of 16 of the Qatari World Cup, thanks to a success against Canada (2-1).
