«I am very happy for the players, for the owners and for the fans, because nine defeats are very damaging to any environment. This victory can give us oxygen. It’s a team that needs to work a lot, on many things, also because we’ve had few training sessions. It is a desired victory, especially by changing many things at half-time on a defensive level: in the first two quarters Reggio Emilia had been very good at punishing us in pick and roll situations. We were good in the last two quarters at doing something different in defense, making important steps as evidenced by the 33 points scored by our opponents. It’s an important victory. We still have a lot to fix, but the intensity that this team can produce is very high and we just have to work.”
