Camavinga & Endrick: “No Green” Message Explained

Endrick will be looking to prove his worth ahead of the 2026 World Cup, as Brazil look to win their sixth trophy. Selecao will face Morocco, Haiti and Scotland in the group stage of the United States, Mexico and Canada. Endrick has openly said that he doubts he will be selected if he remains at Real.

He said: “I’m worried… because it’s my dream to be at the World Cup. It’s hard to even talk about it. I want to help Brazil win a sixth World Cup.”

Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti has expressed his confidence in the player, and said he did not tell him to leave the Bernabeu.

He said: “He is a very important player because he is one of the emerging talents of Brazilian football.

“We are evaluating it. But it is not true that I said Endrick had to leave Real Madrid to go to the World Cup. That is a matter between Real Madrid and the player. He needs to talk to the club and make the best decision for himself and for Real Madrid.”

He added: “Yes, I spoke to him [Endrick] at the start of this season.

“He was injured, but now he is fine, is back, and he has to think with his representatives what is best. Talk to the club, to see what is best for him.

“Endrick is still very young, this is not his last World Cup. He can play in the 2026 World Cup, because he has the quality for that, but he could also be in the 2030 World Cup, or the 2034 World Cup, and maybe even the 2038 World Cup. I believe it is important for him to come back and show his abilities.”
