The league phase of the Champions League is entering the hot phase, the sixth matchday in the premier class is coming up. The German representatives Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen are both challenged away on Tuesday. For both teams it is important points to reach the round of 16 directly.
BVB meets Tottenham Hotspur. Dortmund and the Premier League club have been in lockstep in the Champions League so far, both have scored eleven points – and also have the same goal difference. With a win, Dortmund, who only played 2-2 against Bodö/Glimt before Christmas, would take a big step towards the round of 16. Champions League: Bayer Leverkusen is under pressure away from home
Bayer 04 Leverkusen has to travel to Olympiakos Piraeus in Greece. With only two wins and nine points so far, the Werkself are under pressure in the Champions League and could even be eliminated completely after the league phase. The reigning Greek champions Olympiakos could overtake Leverkusen with a win.
