Bucks Trade: Antetokounmpo Rumors & Potential Deals

Is Giannis Antetokounmpo on his final days with the Milwaukee Bucks?

The Bucks have started listening to offers for their star player, according to what informant Shams Charania has learned.

Antetokounmpo could be traded by the Feb. 5 trade deadline or during the offseason, according to Charania.

“Several rival teams are making aggressive offers for him to the Bucks and the team is starting to listen,” Charania said on X.

Antetokounmpo has been in trade rumors for over a year. In December, we learned that he and his agent had met with the Bucks to discuss his future in the NBA.

Before the start of the campaign, sources reported that the Greek Freak would analyze the first 25 games of the Bucks’ season and make a decision on his future, based on the team’s competitiveness in the East.

Milwaukee currently sits 12th in the East with a record of 18-27 and the team has lost its last three games.

According to ESPN, however, the Bucks have warned other NBA teams that they are in no rush to trade Antetokounmpo.

Antetokounmpo averaged 28.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game this season, while adding an average of 5.6 assists. He was limited to 30 games due to injuries.

Currently on the sidelines, Antetokounmpo has been playing with the Bucks since the 2013-2014 season.

Named in the top 10 for MVP voting every season since 2016, Antetokounmpo has won the honor twice and been named to the All-Star Game on nine occasions.

In 889 games in the NBA since the start of his career, the 31-year-old star has averaged 24.0 points, 9.9 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game.
