Brussels Basketball: Narrow ENBL Loss

After three wins in a row, Brussels lost 92-95 at home against the Croatians Dinamo Zagreb during their seventh meeting in the ENBL (European North Basketball League) on Tuesday evening.

With 10 points (3 wins-4 losses), the Brussels residents now occupy 14th place in the provisional competition ranking. After a good passage between the 8th and the 28th minute (44-40 at rest), Brussels accumulated too many turnovers and collapsed at the end of the third quarter.

Trailing 62-69 in the 30th minute, the Brussels residents were unable to reverse the trend in the last quarter despite Demetric Horton’s 30 points, helped by Jalen Finch (double-double with 16 points and 10 assists) and Onyeka Agu (12 points, 3 rebounds).

For its next meeting, Brussels will visit the Icelanders Tindastoll on February 10.
