Starting this weekend, it’s time for the International World Series Indoor 1000 in Nîmes, the biggest European event of the indoor season. More than 1,300 archers will come together for three days for this major archery event.

Six Brienonnais archers will be in the running:

  • Recurve bow men : Anthony Barbier, Evann Collaud, Joseph Gueniot and Valentin Corsin

  • Recurve bow women : Eugénie Peslier

  • Bow without sight : Florian Thiriot

The 2025 season had already been significant for Evann Collaud, quarter-finalist in Nîmes, and Anthony Barbier, stopped in the round of 16. Both archers finished in the world top 16 at the end of the season.
Among the women, Eugénie Peslier will try to enter the top 32 in order to reach the elimination matches.
In archery without a sight, Florian Thiriot, recent author of a personal best and currently 6th in the national ranking, has a great opportunity to shine.
