Munich – Boris Becker starts the year 2026 with a special family moment. The tennis legend shares emotional pictures from Dubai on Instagram that show him with his wife Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro (35) and their daughter Zoë Vittoria. The daughter, born on November 21, 2025, is Becker’s fifth child and the first with his wife, who was married in September 2024.
The photos show the 57-year-old beaming in front of the luxurious Burj Al Arab Hotel. A particularly emotional picture shows Becker from the hotel room, lovingly holding his newborn daughter in his arms and smiling broadly. Further photos document walks with the stroller on the beach in Dubai, accompanied by Lilian’s grandmother Nemy. “Love, family and good energy. The best way to start 2026,” Becker writes about the pictures and wishes his followers a wonderful year.
Tennis legend with an eventful past
Boris Becker is considered the most successful German tennis player of all time. In 1985, at just 17 years old, he became the youngest player to win Wimbledon and triggered a tennis boom in Germany. In his career from 1984 to 1999, he collected six Grand Slam titles: Wimbledon three times (1985, 1986, 1989), the Australian Open twice (1991, 1996) and the US Open once (1989). In total he won 49 individual titles and was number one in the world rankings for twelve weeks.
After turbulent years, Becker found his private happiness with Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro. The two met in 2019, she stood by him during his prison term and married him in Portofino in September 2024. “I survived because of her love and her strength,” says Becker, describing her importance to him. After successfully coaching Novak Djokovic (2013-2016), who won six Grand Slam titles under his guidance, Becker is now concentrating on his family happiness.
The Dubai pictures show a relaxed Boris Becker who is enjoying his father’s happiness to the fullest. After Christmas in Milan with a visit from his older sons Noah (31), Elias (26) and Amadeus (15), the family is now starting the new year together.
