The Archers of 2 Rives (Villeneuve-sur-Lot) organized the departmental championship, indoor shooting at 18 meters, on the weekend of January 17 and 18.

102 archers from the department competed, including 22 young people and twelve adults under the colors of the Boé Archers.

Six gold medals on Saturday

Axel Ivora wins the U11 recurve bow category. Ditto for Noëlie Dutau in U13 for a first participation in the departmental championships (1st year of official FFTA competition).

In U13 recurve the Boétiens occupy the first four places, with in order: Matéo Merle, Timéo Sensamat, Clément Nicollas and Amayes Dannepond.

In the U15 Recurve, Capucine Mouillas is ahead of her club mate, Eloïse Galli. Full success for the U15 recurve bow. The six Boétiens occupy the first six places, and, in order: Maël Jagu-Sabathier, Ruben Cedo, Mathéo Coppola, Martin Fighiera, Arthur Amangaron and Julian Lamas (first participation in duels and final shots for these last three archers).

Among the U18 Recurve bow, group shooting also for the Boétiennes who occupy the first four places: Julie Cedo is ahead of Leslie Roumegas, Aigline Moreau and Lola Loiseau Majeau.

Elorri Sirben takes the top step in U21 women’s recurve bow, just like Yvon Laforgue in the men’s category. In adult barebow, Katarina Azanowsky won a silver medal.

Podiums on Sunday

Many Boétien seniors also finished in the first three: Pierre Therasse is departmental vice-champion in senior 2 recurve bow as is Charlyne Escolano in senior 1 compound bow (tied at 1 point) and Jean-Marc Priarollo in senior 2 compound bow.
