At the beginning of December, HV71 had hopes that Björn Liljander would return to duty.
Now it’s getting really close.
According to information to Expressen, Liljander will start working on a smaller scale shortly.
– It feels great, says club manager Richard Nylin.

It has been a shaky autumn for HV71, where both the sporting director Björn Liljander and his assistant sporting director Fredrik Stillman have been forced to take sick leave.
But now comes a light in all the darkness.
According to information to Expressen, Björn Liljander is on his way back to work for the Jönköping club. He is expected to return to duty shortly, albeit to a limited extent with adapted duties.
The return is being made cautiously and the responsibility will gradually increase, taking into account Liljander’s health.
– He will slowly creep into action a little easily in one or a few weeks. It’s great fun. But he will work from home with very limited tasks. He will have nothing outside or with anything that happens here, says club manager Rickard Nylin.
Opens to collect more
Liljander has been on sick leave since last autumn due to exhaustion symptoms. During the same period, the club also told about threats and hatred directed at Fredrik Stillman, who later forced him to take sick leave.
– He is recovering but it is a long way off. I talk to him fairly often, says Nylin.
The club manager is also open to picking someone else into the management staff.
– We are looking at finding someone who can come and relieve a little before we are back at full strength. Internally, or externally if someone can come in in the short term. We need it because we have lost two full-time positions, he says.
