The biathlon circus remains in Germany. A few days after the World Cup in Oberhof, the athletes will move on to Ruhpolding, where they will be from January 14th to 18th make a stop. It is the penultimate stop before the Winter Olympics.

The women’s relay was exciting until the end. Norway’s Kirkeeide shot past Italy’s Vittozzi on the home straight to take the win. Sweden moved onto the podium ahead of France. Preuß had a chance of getting on the podium, but had to go into the penalty loop in the last shooting. Germany came sixth.

In the men’s category, too, five nations were close together until the last shooting. There France won the race with Perrot. Christiansen (Norway) overtook Nawrath (Germany) on the last lap. Sweden’s Samuelsson finished fourth.
