Bennane Signs Pro Deal: Anderlecht Youngster Commits Future

YOUTH Anderlecht has let Ilyes Bennane sign a first professional contract. The young attacking midfielder just celebrated his 15th birthday on Monday. He is now contracted with Anderlecht until mid-2028.

Bennane comes from Verviers and played for the youth of Eupen, Standard and Genk before moving to Anderlecht in 2024. “Between the lines, Ilyes gives free rein to his creativity. He is good with the ball, is known for easily finding free spaces and has an excellent kicking technique,” is how Anderlecht describes the young talent.

“Ilyes is part of the talented 2011 generation and is now the first to sign a professional contract on his fifteenth birthday,” the club said.
