The departmental archery championship of Haute-Loire, in Espaly-Saint-Marcel, organized by the Archers du Velay, saw the Archers of the Jeune Loire de Beauzac entered with 16 archers and garnered 12 podiums.
Among the youngest, Corentin Moine won the gold medal in U13 men’s recurve bow and became departmental champion. In U15 Women, Noélyne Salvat Berthoix climbs to the highest step of the podium, just like Chloé Dolmazon in U18 women’s recurve bow.
The U18 men’s recurve category was marked by a hat-trick for Beauzac: Martin Boutrand was crowned departmental champion, Thimoté Chabanol won the silver medal, Ezzio Cambi completed the podium with bronze.
In U21 men’s recurve bow, Axel Giraud won and became departmental champion of Haute-Loire.
Among the seniors, the performances are confirmed. In Senior 1 women’s recurve bow, Beauzac achieves a double with Noémie Cuoq, departmental champion, and Marjolaine Guillemet, bronze medalist. Germaine Julien won gold in senior 3 women’s recurve, while Christian Sagnard obtained the bronze medal in senior 3 men’s recurve. Finally, in senior 1 men’s compound bow, Thomas Coutanson climbs to the third step of the podium.
